10:49 am - Spring Break We've finally gotten off Spring Break! I say finally, only because being out of school with nothing do to is quite boring. I guess it wasn't so bad, I spent a lot of time with my girlfriend. We watched tons of anime, and generally raised hell. She's so cool to hang out with, even though she's younger than I am. The last part of Spring Break, I spent up in Austin with her, her brother, and a classmate of mine at the Texas Furry Convention. It was a lot of fun. There wasn't much to do, but what there was happened to be totally awesome. I went as my ocelot mix, Carlotta Quickbite. She's adorable. She's not a full blooded ocelot, because her ancestors mixed with house cats and other species of feline. Ariel went as Yuki-Vixen Shintuski, Carly's fiance. He's a fox, and I don't just mean his species ~.^ The two were inseparable. On Saturday, however, Yuki got ahead of himself and started to mess with a leopard and a lion. They considered chasing him, then wondered about dealing with his mate (Carly), then they found out she was a little kitty, and figured it would be lots of fun to mess with Yuki. There were so many gay and bi guys there, Ariel and I said it was like we'd died and gone to the harem. We felt really safe around everybody there, even though most people who came into the hotel thought we were freaks of some kind. After the convention each night, Ariel and I would drop the boys back off at my sister's place, then go out to eat visit Walmart or whatever it was we needed to do. The middle aged adults looked at us like we were somehow unworthy of breathing the same air they did, but the kids and elderly smiled and waved at us like we were really cool. That's what makes the whole thing worthwhile. Wearing the tail and make-up I mean. Just seeing a smile from a frowning kid's face when I wave at them is enough to make me want to wear my tail, ears and make up everyday. I can't wait for next year's con. Or the next time I see the furries, since several of them live here in Houston. I have a new story involving Carly and Fain that I'll have posted eventually. I might just stick it up now to show off the uncompleted stage, but we'll see. Current Mood: exhausted Current Music: keyboard tapping in class

12:09 pm - It's My Life Well, I wrote this little song fic to Bon Jovi's "It's My Life". I think it's pretty good. At least, I hope it is. It's one of the only pieces I've ever written in past tense. 12:00 am - Car troubles My car died this morning. It may not be fixable. It was acting up this week, it had a flat tire on Thursday, and again today. It took two hours to change because the spare wouldn't come out. On my way out to pick people up for the faire, the rear passenger side just fell about 5 inches. Nothing was apparently wrong, but I didn't want to be stranded far from home. It stalled about 4 times on the way to the shop, and started diesaling. Then dad a couple hours ago drove my car home (of all the stupid things to do), couldn't get it started again. Then about 45 minutes ago, I was getting something out of it and he came out and tried starting it again, it turned over and it sounded like a mini explosion, then several somethings started rattling really really loudly. And it won't work now, I just want it back cos it's my first car. It's my baby, I put all of my heart and soul into it, we had a great bond. We were like best friends. I know it was just a machine, but it wasn't to me. I don't want a new car. I want that one. We were a team, we took on supped up race cars and won hands down. I guess the flat tire was a sign that it was time for the car to go. It's going to cost more to fix it than it's worth monitarily. I'm going to cry myself to sleep now. 12:57 am - Yu-Gi-Oh! Damn it to Hell!!! I just got raped by a friend of mine teaching me how to play Duel Monsters. I started with 7000 LP and after his first attack, was down to -500. I guess it's my just rewards since I would have done the same thing in Magic: The Gathering. Ah well, next time I wont hold back my Blue Eyes White Dragon. Current Mood: aggravated

12:02 pm - Costumes and Furries weee friend says there's furries on CSI tonight. I wonder if that's true. I guess I'll watch it while working on my Seto Kaiba outfit. ^_^ I'm going to get the pattern and fabric right after school. It's going to look so awesome. I'll put up a picture as soon as I've gotten it done. For now, I'll be writing my lemon fic about YGO! I sliced my cheek last night at Walmart. I was at an end cap, when I thought I heard someone calling my name. I looked up suddenly, and went >slice<. My chin was bleeding, and hurt like hell. That's the way the cookie crumbles I guess. 11:29 pm - Defensive Driving Man, this has been an odd night. I went to a defensive driving class this evening. It was one of those comedy classes where they use humor to drive the points home. It didn't hurt that much, and it was funny, but at the same time, I can't really take it seriously because I'm one of those drivers who is an aggressive and defensive driver at the same time. Sounds like it's hard to do, but it isn't really. Just be aware. Push your senses to the max. It's how I can take chances that most "sane" drivers wouldn't. That and, I trust my car implicitly. I mean the car and I have perfect unity. It responds to my every touch, as well as compensates when I make a mistake. I know it's too weird for some people to understand. How could a machine be able to react on it's own? Just learn to be one with the vehicle, and trust its instincts as well as your own. Current Mood: amused Current Music: Yu-Gi-Oh

12:17 pm - Nap I just woke up from a nap I took during lunch. I skipped it to sleep because I was exhausted. I'm still really tired, but I guess there's nothing I can do about that except sleep once I get done with school, and the rest of my errands. Which include: Going to the post office, and getting some lunch from Wendy's or someplace like that. I hope that the envelope is still in my car, because I don't have the address I need -.- I'm so stupid sometimes. I forgot to print out my friends address so I could send him that damn collar. I'll feel really good having that out of my hands. I made it, but I don't think it looks really good. I guess I'm just really critical about my own work. Any how, enough ranting. I'm going to work on a really neat fanfic for Yu-Gi-Oh! I haven't written anything in so long, anything original that is. My Muse is upon me. Her name is Shella. I love her dearly. 09:19 pm - Giddyness Weeeee Yu-Gi-Oh! just ended, I wish it hadn't, I love that show. Yami and Seto are so hot >drools< Anyhow I got home from my writer's group about 45 minutes ago, I had them critique a couple of my poems. I hate writing poetry, at least, until I get it done. Also, I'm working on this collar for a friend, he's giving it to his wife for their marriage next month. It's a steel band with blue crushed velvet covering it, as well as a small heart peice affixed to an oval of burgandy velvet. It looks gorgeous, and I hope it's what he wants.
